Job Description

On behalf of our client a dynamic and fast growing Real estate company based in the UK, with its head-offices offices located in Nicosia, Cyprus, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual for role of FINANCIAL CONTROLLER.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Manage a team of 3 people with responsibility to provide all financial support to the Real Estate and manage all reporting / submission deadlines.
● Leadership and development of the team
● Oversee preparation of Financial Statements (based on UK law)
● Oversee preparation of Consolidated accounts
● Oversee preparation of VAT returns / Tax returns ( UK compliance)
● Implementation of Monthly management reporting for senior management and external stakeholders.
● Proactive identification of key financial risks through portfolio sensitivity analysis and forward projections. Data custodian of Real estate business documents
● Pro-active Cash flow management
● Ad hoc Financial analysis/ evaluations as required

Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

● Qualified Accountant with 5 years post qualification experience

● Team Management/ Leadership experience

● Knowledge of Real Estate business

● Knowledge of UK Tax/Vat would be an advantage

● Good Excel/ Spreadsheet modelling skills

● Ability to manage and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

● Multitasking

● Excellent communication written and spoken communication skills

● Native English speaker would be an advantage
