An established Financial Services Company is looking for a Systems Developer to join their team. We are seeking to recruit highly motivated professionals to join our head office in Nicosia, Cyprus.
To contribute to the effectiveness of the Company in achieving its aims and objectives through carrying out all duties in an efficient, professional manner at all times. The technician/ Systems Developer must demonstrate ability to meet schedules, operate as part of a team and be able to produce quality software and install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications on time.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide 1st level/2nd level support for users of hardware, OS and software troubleshooting
· Install, configure and support Microsoft based IT infrastructure throughout the company (Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange etc)
· Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
· Troubleshooting system problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
· Install in-house software and reports and train the users
· Design and develop in-house .NET applications and SQL Server reports
· Perform other related projects and duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
1. BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or related field
2. Be able to work as a member of a team and have a positive attitude
3. Analytical thinking and problem-solving
4. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and correctly and be able to troubleshoot and identify technical issues quickly
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Deriving and documenting functional requirements from business Requirements
7. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL syntax specifically in Microsoft SQL Server 2008-2014
8. Development skills with Microsoft Technologies: MS Visual Studio .NET 2008-2015 using C#.Net and ASP.NET for WEB/Windows environment
