Job Description
On behalf of our client, a Cypriot Investment Firm, we are looking for a Webmaster to join their Limassol Office. The successful candidate should have a BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Software Engineering and have experience to build from scratch new WebSite based on WordPress, also experience in React or Angular.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and development of new features
- Debugging and maintenance of existing features
- Development of test cases using automated testing tools
- Volume and regression testing on a frequent basis, and preparation of any reports in order to update management team.
- Understand requests and requirements from stakeholders.
- Proactive completion of work and resolve blockers.
- Code reviews and bug fixes for any project.
- Developing plugins for our WP websites
- Updating content on the website on a daily basis
- Using various techniques to enrich our website content
- Write well- designed and efficient code
Requirements
- A BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Software Engineering is desired
- Postgraduate qualifications or certifications will be considered as an advantage.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Experience to build from scratch new WebSite based on WordPress is a must
- Experience in React or Angular is a must
- MySQL, Python & PSP are also required for the role
- Web development experience in a Wordpress .NET environment is a must.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. MEAN full stack experience is a bonus.
- Experience in knockout.js, node.js or another rich JavaScript application framework
- Experience with real-time web applications with high volume updates a bonus.
- Financial markets knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
- Able to learn technical and financial concepts quickly.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize different tasks quickly.
- Ability to work with a team and interact with a flexible and mature attitude to work.
- A "can do" professional attitude and an ability to learn quickly is crucial
