CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a recently established Electronic Money Institution with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit an experienced candidate for the position of Back-End Developer to join their expanding team of professionals.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a SCRUM team along with the SCRUM Master, Product Owner, User eXperience designer to design, decompose, implement, and release high end systems.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of system changes and new products according to existing or new requirements.
- Get involved throughout the whole software development life cycle of the systems platform
- Perform research to enhance the design of solutions.
- Analyze business requirements to define system design.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of code and data for new or existing systems.
- Take part in Agile ceremonies such as daily Stand-Ups, Development refinement, Planning and estimation and Sprint Reviews.
Key Skills/Experience:
- BA in Computer Science or related field from an accredited University.
- 3+ years of experience in Core Java.
- Experience using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, (DI, MVC, Security, JPA …) Maven, Junit.
- Good experience on Multi-Threading, concurrency and collections.
- Experience with building RESTful microservices.
- Strong experience in development against relational database preferably using PostgreSQL and Oracle.
- Solid foundation in computer science with strong competency in data structures, algorithms, databases, and object-oriented software design.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Driven Development.
- Experience with the below would be considered an advantage:
- Experience with Apache Kafka.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with React JavaScript framework.
- Agile software development experience.
- DevOps knowledge, containerization experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Experience with React JavaScript framework.
- Spring Cloud, RabbitMQ, Redis, Hessian, Docker/Docker-compose.
