Job Description
Our client is an investment company based in Cyprus that provides a full range of brokerage services in the international stock markets and foreign exchange, regulated by the Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission. They are currently looking for a Compliance Officer – the ideal candidate would have experience in a CySEC environment for around 2 years.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and update internal policies and procedures, processes, forms, standard documents and templates for ASP;
- Coordinate operational activities aiming to maintain compliance with legal requirement;
- Identify compliance issues;
- Oversee and monitor compliance with data protection regulations;
- Provide recommendations on best practices implementation of CySEC’s regulatory requirements;
- Liaise with other departments when required in order to maintain CySEC standards
- Enforce AML standards & procedures;
- Prepare and submit Reports to CySEC
- Follow up with national and EU legal/regulatory developments (organize internal procedure based on current and prospective regulations);
- Prepare or organize required periodic reports as per the regulations
- Assist with coordination of internal/external auditors
- Ensuring all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous experience as a Compliance Officer;
- CySec Advanced certificate is considered as an advantage;
- Advance knowledge of English; Fluency in Russian will be considered an advantage
- In depth knowledge of AML processes
- Ability to work independently.
