Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly reputable Group of Companies with diverse business interests including Hospitality, Leisure, Real Estate & Travel, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Reservation Agent to join their expanding team of professionals based in Paphos. The successful applicant must have previous, relevant professional experience and be fluent in English.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

  • Process reservations by email and telephones.
  • Respond to inquiries and make reservations as needed.
  • Know the type of apartments available, their locations and layout.
  • Create and maintain reservation records.
  • Process cancellation and modifications promptly.
  • Ensure that reservations are dealt with an efficient and pleasant manner.
  • Be conversant with the facilities, services and special offers each supplier/property owner provides for each apartment (and aparthotel) and to pass this information on to guests.
  • Check correspondence in connection with reservations and deal with accordingly.
  • Be able to offer an alternative if guests cannot get what they require.
  • Work in accordance with the Reservations Department rules and Company’s policies.
  • Attend relevant training as and when required.
  • Assist and advise customers.
  • Process payments and send confirmation details to clients.
  • Answer any question customers might have about the reservation process.
  • Provide support to clients who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

  • Experience in Reservations, Sales or Front office department or equivalent required.
  • Working experience in Online Travel Agencies is an advantage.
  • Perfect telephone skills.
  • Skills to handle discussions and solve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
  • Excellent selling capabilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
  • Strong computer skills in essential.
  • Experience handling customer service issues.
