Job Description

Our client an international company active within the global music/entertainment industry with offices here in Limassol is looking to hire an eager and energetic candidate for the position of Warehouse Operator.

The position will be responsible for:

Responsible for the complete run, organization and cleanliness of the company's warehouse

Receive, unpack and evaluate incoming shipments against packing slips

Pack and unpack products to be stocked on shelves and store items in an orderly and accessible manner following warehouse's instructions, in a timely manner

Run regular counts of stock, investigate discrepancies and adjust errors

Proper labelling of products on the shelfs and on the product boxes

Examine and inspect stock items for defects and report any errors

Responsible for the regular update of the webstore's orders in our system

Prepare and pack each webstore order daily and arrange the same day shipment

Deliver packed orders to the post office daily

Deal with order returns

Able to move / lift boxes up to 20kg, unassisted in some cases

Make sure the warehouse never runs out of stock of material, stationery and tools necessary for the day-to-day operations

Learn and utilize the existing warehouse systems

Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will have/be:

High school diploma is required

A degree or diploma in Logistics or warehouse management will be considered an advantage

Experience in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred but not mandatory

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Possession of a valid Driver License and ownership of a car

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and strong general computer skills 

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Able to work under pressure

Ability to work flexible hours when the needs of the business require

Although the above criteria will be preferred, the client is also willing to consider candidates without experience but that are energetic, self-motivated individuals that are willing to learn, as full training will be provided. 

The working hours will be Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.

It is essential for the successful candidate to have their own car, as the role will require daily visits to the post office for the collection and drop off of merchandise orders. A petrol allowance will be included as part of the package.

Competitive salary based on experience x 12 salaries plus petrol allowance
