Job Description

PSS Professional Subsea Service Ltd. is a provider of professional diving services currently accepts applications for Diving Supervisor in Cyprus.

The basic function of the position the Diving Supervisor is in charge of the planning and execution of the diving operation under the guidance of a project manager, including the responsibility for the safety and health of the dive team, must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and enforce project’s detailed scope-of-work to maintain strict compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Work safely and ensure that the crew is working safely during all phases of performing the job duties required in the field.
• Takes appropriate safety precautions, such as monitoring dive lengths and depths.
• While actually on duty, be in immediate control and available to implement emergency procedures.
• Ensure diving operations are carried out from a suitable and safe location on the surface.
• Develop or modify and produce pre and post-dive checklists for the operation.
• Establish a dive plan ensuring for safe and timely completion of the job task.
• Assign the duties of all members of the dive team and personally direct them throughout the diving operation.
• Maintain and submit reports required by employer and relevant governmental regulations concerning diving operations and equipment maintenance, testing, or repair.
• View and ensure accuracy of diver personal log book and affix signature to properly record activities.

• Diving Supervisor with ADCI or equivalent certification from an accredited commercial diving school, or other recognized in IMCA.

• Experience – 3+ years as Diving Supervisor.

• Current & valid CPR First Aid, Oxygen Administration, AED certification, BOSIET certificate.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

• Must possess a current dive physical.

• Good knowledge of English.
