Our client, a CYSEC Regulated German Investment Firm located in Limassol, is looking to hire an IT Project Manager.
The group is one of Europe’s leading financial institutions specialising in Forex/CFDs trading.
Job Description:
Working as part of the existing PMO team and acting as a bridge between the Business and IT
Work closely with Technical Departments and Developers to define, analyse, plan the requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
Determine and define clear deliverables in the form of descriptions and tasks related to projects
Hold regular team meetings to determine progress and address any questions of challenges regarding projects and tasks; work with responsible owners to address the items on a timely basis
Be involved with the coordination of IT projects in collaboration with the CIO, to ensure on-time, high quality delivery in accordance with the agreed project goals
Ensure to be well informed, track and provide input for all aspects of the project including analysis, planning, testing and deployment
Provide continuous feedback for the improvement of the systems and be ready to answer all stakeholder related questions on projects and tasks.
Requirements
Experience in Agile Methodologies (e.g.SCRUM) is a must
At least 2 years of experience in the Forex industry
University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
Previous experience in enterprise software design and deployment, with proven track record of delivering products and solutions (such as native iOS and Android platform, Node JS, PHP and Wordpress) to the marketplace
Experience with key project management tools: MS Project, Office, JIRA, Visio, Confluence
Working knowledge of Gantt charts and time planning
Able to translate and set task/project estimation and deadlines considering the whole process of development
Experience with responsive design and native applications on mobile platform would be considered an advantage
Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising
Experience working in high-level collaborative environment and promoting teamwork mentality
