Our client is a leading International Financial Services company is looking for a driven and experienced IT Project Manager to join their company in Limassol, Cyprus. They are a large, established, international financial services company employing more than 450 employees, spanning 10 offices globally. The IT Project Manager who will report directly to the CIO.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with stakeholders and knowledge experts within the organization to establish goals and requirements for development projects
Understand the organisations current and future business goals, strategies, and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success
Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
Ensure strict systems security and protection of company data is documented, implemented, and tested
Work with the development and support teams to brainstorm new test ideas for technical projects
Implement and agree project plans with the development team and establish project planning tools to manage and monitor development work
Take complex work processes, document them simplify them where possible for systems development
Communicate plans and deliverables with senior management including Board Directors
Ensure projects keep to timeframes and within budget, if changes occur be able to communicate this to management
Oversee the development work to ensure we are actively working toward established milestones and off-shore development teams are working efficiently
Chair regular meetings with development team and stakeholders to ensure requirements and processes are communicated, understood, and agreed
Monitor projects to determine progress and address any questions, issues or challenges regarding projects
Manage changes and additional requirements to projects
Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options to help the company achieve its technology goals as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
Implement and manage testing protocols, quality assurance and schedules for the testing of new applications and systems
Coordinate the roll-out of beta and production releases
Liaise with 3rd party service providers, product providers and developers for development of applications and integrations
Liaise with IT Support Team and Infrastructure Team on the support, maintenance and back-up of all company systems and sites
Proactively involved with the Company's business continuity plans
Oversee communication to users on new developments and the establishment of help aids and support
Be prepared to travel to The Philippines to spend time with the development team
Identify training needs for the IT Team and implement a training plan
Involvement in annual appraisals for the IT Team
Qualifications:
The candidate should come from a development background with qualifications in IT and/or Project Management
A very good understanding of latest developments in IT and systems security
Should have min 5 years' experience managing a variety of IT development projects
Experience in managing and working with offshore development teams
Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
Be able to take stakeholder requirements, document and communicate them to development teams
Experience in delivering CRM solutions with a focus on user productivity
Experience in the financial services industry would be beneficial
Experience with VoIP and calling solutions would be beneficial
Experience with delivering mobile applications and system integration projects
Have a proven track record in the delivery of IT systems adopting an agile approach to development
The working hours will be standard 8 hours day, hours can be flexible, the earlier start the better as their development team is based in the Philippines.
