CAD Technician/Design Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Coherence of company design system, management of the design process and review of progress against same
- Ensure timely, presentable, consistent and high level of quality design information both internally and externally
- Curtain wall business development, including the design, commercial and production function of the new division
- Design Production and Project Management
- Overall responsibility for assigned projects, to include timely production of design information
- Close liaison with project design team, and internal project team
- Management of external design by both project design, interface contractors, and outsourced designers
- Adhering to design production programming, monitoring and review
- Formal drawing check for main drawings prior to distribution
- Drawing production based on scope of works
- Design approval from client representative prior to critical design stages - procurement of material and installation
- Clear and defined design drawings and information, to include filing and sourcing of same
- Registration and uploading of current design information. Tracking of drawing revisions and notification
- Ensuring server project file contains latest design information, internal & external.
- Timely release of design information. Issue sheet production and distribution to all relevant parties
- Specification compliance, including formation of defined specification under D&B contracts
- All disciplines related to the construction and maintenance of Buildings (structural works, architectural& interior, MEP/ HVAC works, external works)
- Review meetings with interface contractors at key stages.i.e early and prior to installation
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- At least 10 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, Microstation, BIM & Revit, Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of Greek and English
- Advanced organization skills and structure mindset and work approach
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time.
