Our client is a philanthropic non profit short film festival & distribution company who will promote & distribute up to 10 short films a year, with the goal of promoting films with a strong social and political message of the highest artistic merit and they are looking for a Senior Producer to oversee these projects.
Responsibilities:
Drive the development of the distribution company
Responsible for watching short films and discovering new and exciting talent from all over the world.
Responsible for promoting the films to film festivals, and managing the distribution efforts.
Responsible for communicating with film festivals and media companies, communicating with the filmmakers, and managing the company’s marketing efforts, as well as its Social Media channels.
Requirements:
Background in film – required.
You must have at least some technical abilities for simple photo editing (for Social Media posts)
You must have some “web design” abilities, to be able to create and edit sites on platforms such as Squarespace. Not difficult, but this is required.
The role requires superior strategic and relationship skills.
Background and knowledge of Social Media marketing.
Proven project management skill.
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Working hours: 40 hours per week working remotely from home
Salary up to 1,200 EUR Net per month based on skills and previous experience
