Job Description

Our client is an International Oil Trading Company involved in the global trading and shipping of petroleum products and lubricants, with Headquarters in Limassol they are looking to recruit an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for the full accounting function of the company

ONLY candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with SAP software will be considered

Responsibilities:
To ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering all transactions for the group of companies;
To verify, allocate, posts and reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies;
Preparation of payment orders and bank reconciliations;
To maintain general ledger, prepare a trial balance, and reconcile entries;
To prepare weekly reports of received and outstanding invoices in coordination with the Trade Finance manager;
To maintain and update the annual leave and sick leave file for all employees, Payroll;
To prepare and submit VAT reports;
To summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements; Management reports preparation;
To complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors;
To maintains compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times; avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements;
To keep the office calendar updated (e.g. reports submissions, travels, holidays, office agreements, deadlines etc.);
To arrange for the filling of paperwork, invoices, receipts, courier reports and accounting files;
To work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals
To report directly to the Managing Director

Requirements:
Academic Qualifications: College Diploma and/or Holder of a University degree in Economics, Finance, ACCA is an advantage;
Experience: 5 years minimum experience in a similar position;
Languages: English & Greek fluent
Mandatory SAP knowledge and min 2 years of experience with it;
Computer Skills: very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Good knowledge of other professional software (Payroll).

Salary & benefits:
From 2000 – 2500 Euros gross monthly
