Job Description

Our client a well established Insurance Company is looking to hire a person to fill the role of Casualty Care Claims Supervisor for their office based in Limassol.

Responsible for attending the scene of serious accidents, visit patients who are claiming compensation under any company policy, in order to provide emotional and psychological support to the injured/ patient.

Key Responsibilities
Focus, immediate assessment and support to the client
To be by the clients side immediately after the accident and their transportation to the hospital and up
until their full recovery according to the type of injury included in process and procedures
Complete the Motor Accident Medical Report (separate report for each injured person) and hand it to the Managing Director and the Claims Manager
Visiting clients for emotional support
Update the client’s personal file.
Identify possible fraudulent accidents/ claims and bring them to the attention of Claims Manager
Request documents related to claims from insured’s, brokers or any other related parties.
Prepare claim folders and either negotiate with claimants if within specified limits or refer claim folder to Claims Manager
Maintain physical (hard copies) claim files.
Update the system with any notes to track status of claims activity.
Input and review reserves in claims system based on information provided.
Process settlement checks and invoices related to claims activity within prescribed requirements.
Work with Finance regarding any wire transfer needed within prescribed requirements.
Prepare, photocopy and distribute correspondence related to claims activity, to include acknowledgement and letter with claim payments
Handle any claims related incoming mail (post or electronic) by ensuring that it is scanned in to the system the day it is received.
Run claims related reports, as may be requested.

The successful candidates will have:
School leaving certificate
A University Degree in Psychology / Social Work or similar.
