We are looking for a sports trader with extensive experience in a trading Room and a comprehensive knowledge of Sports Betting, looking to further their career with a market leading company. You will work in a fast-paced environment, operating operate day to day Sportsbook tasks.
Job Description:
· Execute trading strategy (odds and content management - pregame and live betting monitoring and compiling along with updating odds) for multiple sports and betting environments
· Perform risk management, aligned with the company’s strategy e.g. monitor bets of fraudulent nature and events with difficult positions and suspicious activity
· Analyze customer’s behavior, establish relevant profiles and take appropriate actions based on profit/loss and other patterns
· Investigate and analyze market trends to obtain insight that assist in the prediction of customer betting patterns
· Propose betting fixtures and improvements
· B2B Support – handle requests and inquiries from operators
· Statistical data analysis, evaluation and reporting
· Liaise with various internal departments in relation to sportsbook related escalations
· Develop trading skills-set
· Keep up to date with sporting activity by following sports events
Requirements:
· Solid experience in a similar role
· Deep understanding and familiarity with the sports betting business (bookmakers,
· markets, rules, betting trends)
· Strong mathematical and analytical skills with ability to act accurately under pressure
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
· Ability to work flexible hours in line with the needs of the business and the sporting
· calendar
· Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success
· Detail orientation with a logical and analytical bend of mind
· Good time-management skills
· Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
· Fluency in English (written and spoken)
