Our Client is a Fintech company with a difference, who use innovative technology to develop the most easy-to-use and transparent financial trading platform on the market. They are currently looking for a Payments Manager to join their team in Limassol.
The individual will be responsible for dealing with payments providers in relation to payments issues.
Key duties:
Conduct research to identify new Banks and PSPs
Recommend new banks and PSPs to the Management according to business needs and provide guidance to the Management regarding related issues
Interaction with PSPfs and ability to develop long-lasting relationships and negotiate terms and conditions
Dealing with the onboarding of banks and PSPs and integration
Monitoring bank and PSP fees are correctly charged according to the agreement
Suggestions and implementation of how we can decrease banks and PSP fees
Comparison of fees between banks and PSPs, and optimisation of fee structure
Suggestions and implementation how we can decrease declines from PSPs and how to increase Approval rates
Corresponding with banks and all PSPs on issues
Reconcile payments received against statements from PSP and ensure that the correct amounts are recorded in the company’s official records
Monitoring accuracy of fees deduction and rolling reserve from the PSP
Keeping track of market trends, looking for cost . reduction opportunities, checking – approving contracts / commercial parts / developing relationships with external contacts all over the world
Report to the CEO and CFO.
Key requirements:
University degree in Economics/Finance or Business will be considered a strong advantage;
Previous experience in a relevant field is a must
Fluency in English both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented and focused
Strong sense of professionalism, organizational skills.
