Limassol
Our client is a CySec licensed FX Company and they are looking to hire a Compliance Officer to join their team based in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Cyprus laws, regulations and directives issued by CySEC a s well as rules issued by the EU
Tracking regulatory changes and ensure that needed changes are implemented in a timely manner
Developing or assisting in developing, and enforcing adequate policies and procedures in order to meet the compliance requirements of CySEC and other Regulators
Ensure implementation of the Company's procedures
Implement the Company's Compliance Monitoring Program and conduct monitoring
Ensure that Company's employees attend training sessions in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Provide advice and guidance to Company's employees on compliance related matters
Ensure that the Company complies with its continuous obligations to CySEC (i.e. submission of Capital Adequacy Return notifications to CySEC regarding changes in the Company's structure services personnel procedures etc.)
Liaise with regulatory bodies
Assist regulatory bodies in performing inspections of the Company's activities
Continuous improvement of the existing control procedures
Review Company's marketing communication and examine whether it has been prepared in accordance with legal requirements and provide recommendations where applicable
Advise and assists employees responsible for carrying out investment services and activities to comply with Company's obligations under the Law and relevant directives
Recommend in case of detection of any weakness or failure by the firm to comply with its obligations under the Law specific remedial measures
Provides an annual written report to the Board of Directors on the matters of his/her responsibility indicating in particular whether the appropriate remedial measures have been taken in the event of any deficiencies

Draft agreements
Drafting and monitoring policies and procedures relevant to GDPR
Responsibilities
CySEC Advanced + AML certification (must)
GDPR certification (advantageous)
Prior experience as a Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager or similar position (advantageous)
Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations (must)
Bachelor's degree in Law or Accounting
Prior experience of 2 years in a brokerage firm (must)
Detail oriented
Ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams
An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
Friendly and approachable
Hebrew speaker (advantageous)
Salary up to 2,200 EUR gross based on skills and previous experience plus benefits
