Limassol
Our client is a CySEC licensed and regulated FX Broker and they are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team based in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Senior Management in drafting the internal AML compliance manual, policies and procedures, and ensuring their correct and effective implementation
Reviewing new regulations and circulars and providing advice on necessary actions to be taken
Providing advice to staff on AML matters
Performing compliance reporting to ensure that reporting obligations are fulfilled
Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and providing advice on preventing or corrective actions to be taken
Identifying, examining and reporting any suspicious activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing
Dealing with client complaints and any matters related to compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Handling the development and implementation of compliance monitoring programme
Requirements:
BSc/MSc in law is preferable, business, finance, economics or related field
At least 1+ year of experience in a similar position either in a compliance department within the Forex sector or a compliance consulting firm
Holder of CySEC advanced certificate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
High attention to detail
Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
