Our client is a Group of Companies with several Forex Brokers within the group and they are looking to recruit an experienced Director for one of the companies within the group
Responsibilities:
To lead, review, monitor and guide the company's compliance policies and regulatory reporting
Member of the board of directors and the senior management team of the company
To prepare and/or monitor the preparation of any compliance reports AML function of the company.
Following CySEC's circulars, developing and periodically reviewing and updating Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to employees.
Attend all board meetings of the Company and ensure that operational and strategic issues are discussed
Issue guidance to the Company's executive officers and senior management.
Oversee and take into consideration senior management actions and decisions by conducting regular reviews of the effectiveness of the senior management and its internal control systems.
Ensure that he/she is aware at all times of all material matters of the Company.
Responsible for creating and implementing strategy aiming at the development of the company's business
Developing and enforcing adequate policies and procedures in order to meet the compliance requirements of CySEC and other applicable rules and regulations
Requirements:
University Degree in Law, Business, Economics or any other relevant field.
Previous experience of 5 years at C / Director level within a CIF entity (regulated by CySec)
Knowledge and experience in the broader compliance sector
Strong experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with external financial regulatory bodies.
Capability and experience of interacting credibly at Board level and with CySEC and other bodies.
Understanding CIF's and the Financial Services Sector
Understand Mifid 2, Senior Managers Regime and GDPR
Holder of the Advanced CySEC Certificate as the candidate will be in direct communication with CySEC
Strong experience in the AML sector and Compliance, Legal background and solid managerial skills
Knowledge of Cyprus AML law relating to key areas of responsibility
Fluency in English and Greek will be considered an advantage
Additional Benefits & Remuneration package:
An attractive remuneration package from 50 000 to 60 000 Euros gross annually plus performance bonuses will be offered to the successful candidate based on qualifications and experience
