Our client is a leading International Financial Services company is looking for a driven and experienced Compliance Officer to join their company in Limassol, Cyprus. They are a large, established, international financial services company employing more than 450 employees, spanning 10 offices globally.
Responsibilities:
Always up to date with regulatory requirements and guidelines
Updating company procedures and policies where necessary to ensure continued compliance
Oversight of onboarding of clients, ensuring proper monitoring of client transactions and activities, working with the company AML Officer
Setting up internal monitoring and ensuring to provide any remedies where weaknesses are found
Review, approve and monitor company policies and procedures
Responsible for submission of compliance reports
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements where required
Researching regulatory matters as they arise
Ensure commitment and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Maintain legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements
Reports directly to Senior Management and Head of Group Compliance
Requirements:
At least 3+ years' experience in Compliance within a Cyprus Investment Firm in a similar position
Fluent English speaking and writing essential.
Advanced CySEC Holder.
High attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving skills, flexibility and adaptability
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong collaboration skills but also able to work independently
Ability to maintain good working relationships and networks with service providers, external legal advisors and government bodies
The working hours are 8.30am until 5.30pm
