Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Investment Firm with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Compliance Officer to join their team. The successful applicant will hold 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar position and hold the CySEC Advanced Certificate. Fluency in both Greek & English is a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilties:
 

  • Liaising with all relevant departments and supporting areas within the Company.
  • Ensure on-going compliance and collaborate with relevant parties to meet reporting obligations.
  • Complete applications for opening accounts with  PSPs  along with due diligence and maintaining the ongoing relationship.
  • Maintain up to date compliance records (e.g. documents, logs, correspondence, reports, etc.).
  • Draft and revise policies and procedures and prepare reports.
  • Address employees questions and advice on compliance matters.
  • Advising and assisting the relevant persons responsible for carrying out the investment services to be compliant with the Law.
  • Working on related changes to the Company’s documentation.
  • Review, investigate and assist with the resolution of client complaints.
  • Perform any other assigned compliance-related tasks, including admin duties.
  • Ensuring that all relevant information is included in the Company’s outsourcing agreements.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

  • Legal education background.
  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar position.
  • CySEC Advanced Certificate is a must.
  • Fluency in English & Greek is a must.
  • Advanced drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • GDPR knowledge will be considered an advantage.
  • Able to multitask, work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to work on own initiative, independently, prioritize workload and pay attention to details.
