CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a globally recognised provider of tailor-made Residence & Citizenship Planning services, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Legal Advisor to join their expanding team of professionals based in Limassol. The successful applicant will be an experienced Legal Advisor and possess a minimum of 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally within Corporate/Commercial law.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Anticipate and identify legal issues and provide legal advice to management including developing and accessing alternative solutions to accomplish management's goal's with less risk, with priority given to situations of greatest risk, significance and time sensitivity.
- Conduct legal research and analyze laws and regulations.
- Educate and train the internal community about legal and compliance issues.
- Prepare written and verbal opinions of counsel, as needed.
- Draft, review and update agreements, policies and procedures and other documents designed to assure compliance with legal requirements within the companies principles.
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications globally as needed.
- To be able to negotiate and use conflict resolution where necessary.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Legal Degree from a respected University.
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience working for a well-respected legal firm or in the corporate/commercial department of an international organization.
- Substantial experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and policies and extensive experience in researching and providing legal counsel regarding laws and regulation.
- Outstanding English written & verbal communication skills.
- Experience involving corporate compliance, including working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery/Corruption laws and regulations.
- Analytical thinking.

- Integrity and responsibility.
