An Advisory Services company is looking for a Group Government Advisory Director for their office in Limassol to serve as an integral part of the company and to provide legal counsel along with support in multiple areas of the company's operations in more than 25 jurisdictions throughout the world. Reporting to the Executive Committee member responsible for Government Advisory, the Group Government Advisory Director is responsible to continue building the Government Advisory Practice by developing government relationships, closing new government mandates and expanding the company's government advisory activities. This person will be working closely with our Group's chairman and CEO. We need this person to also be a lawyer/legal background as we will need him/her to do some legal work related to the position.
Responsibilities:
Business Development, particularly closing of contracts with governments
Project Management
Corporate Development (building the Government Advisory Practice)
Implementation of the Government Advisory Strategy
Strengthening existing and developing new government relationships
Identifying Business Development and Project Opportunities
Closing contracts with governments
Supporting and improving current government mandates - Developing innovative strategies to attract foreign direct investment for governments
The role is split between business development activities and project management, resulting from successfully acquired government mandates.
External work relationships and contacts:
High ranking government officials (e.g. heads of state, prime ministers, foreign affairs ministers, etc.) Representatives of CBI / RBI related government units
External service providers
Internal work relationships and contacts:
Chairman and CEO
Members of the Executive Committee

Requirements:
Lawyer/legal background
Master's degree or higher from leading university
Background in strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain. etc.)
Negotiation Level English and preferably in at least another world languages
Business development track record
At least 3 years of experience in managing complex and high-profile projects
Minimum 5 years of sales experience
Exhibited political and organizational agility
Strategic planning and vision
Excellent negotiation and sales skills
Managing resources and leading project teams
Stakeholder management
Presentation and public speaking skills

The company is offering a salary of 2,500 - 4,000 EUR NET, based on skills and experience (including 13th salary)
