Job Description

On behalf of our Client, a CySEC licensed Investment Firm in Nicosia, GRS are currently seeking to recruit a multitasker to undertake the permanent role of IT Support Specialist. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide prompt software, hardware support to end users in the Cyprus office. This consists of desktop/Printer/phone/dealer-board troubleshooting, along with prompt installation and prompt troubleshooting of a number of user’s applications.
  • Works on office (including BCP site) IT infrastructure development and implementation.
  • Mobile Email application setup and troubleshooting.
  • Consultation and set up remote access to company network and informational resources.
  • Liaise with the IT team in Head Office to provide a 'remote hands' service for any technical issue when required.
  • PC preparing and configuring. Desk moves and WFH hardware arrangements.
  • Support AV equipment and meeting room setup.
  • Use in-house ticket system to create escalated tickets to HQ IT teams and follow until resolution.
  • Cover helpdesk shifts within set timeframe (accumulated time shift covers the hours of between 8am – 9pm) with occasional weekend and out of hours work.
  • Dependable to cover scheduled checks physically and maintain all relevant IT registers including hardware, asset tracking and software licenses.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University graduate in IT
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Russian will be considered highly advantageous
  • Ability to manage diverse workload and multi-task efficiently 
  • Efficient, punctual and dependable
  • People oriented, effective communicator
