Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding CySEC Licensed Investment Firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Regulatory Compliance Associate to join their team. The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 3+ years of relevant compliance and/or legal experience with working knowledge of the EU regulatory framework. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

  • Analysis of incoming regulations and support implementation.
  • Draft written policies and procedures.
  • Conduct gap analysis of policies and procedures and assist with the remediation of noted deficiencies.
  • Issue high level compliance memos.
  • Provide compliance advice and solutions for various business projects.
  • Produce risk assessments of regulatory developments and business initiatives.
  • Conducting gap analysis of policies and procedures and assist with the remediation of noted deficiencies.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

  • 3-5 years of compliance or related legal experience.
  • Experience in working with Financial Regulations.
  • A degree in Law, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of the EU regulatory framework (including MiFID II and the EU passporting regime).
  • Ability to work with the business and build smooth working relationships.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast moving, constantly changing environment.
  • Effective communicator.
