Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of Managed Data Services & RegTech software solutions to the Financial Services sector, we are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join their expanding team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily take responsibility for project delivery coordination across all relevant external and internal teams to achieve the delivery of projects on time and to budget. You will possess 5+ years’ experience in Project and/or Programme Management and be well versed in leading both technical and non-technical resources.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

  • Coordinate Sales Engineer Implementation prioritization, and organization for external client onboarding projects for the product range.
  • Define the goals and objectives of a specific project and define individual team members’ roles and responsibilities for the duration of the project.
  • Manage multiple mid to large scale projects concurrently, ensuring that they will complete on time and within budget and that the solution aligns with/meets the business objectives.
  • Manage the daily/weekly project team assignments and notify to Sales Engineer progress against the work plan to ensure that objectives are met within the prescribed time, cost, and quality measures.
  • Identification and impact analysis of potential project changes and facilitation of change control to approve or disapprove said changes.
  • Continual identification, qualification and tracking of risks, defining mitigation and contingency plans, assigning appropriate resources, and constantly communicating status.
  • Responsible to facilitate Sales Engineer in identification of resource requirements and proper communication of those requirements in a timely manner to ensure the project is properly staffed with the skilled resources required.
  • Responsible for identifying internal stakeholders, understanding their communication requirements, and fulfilling those requirements.
  • Responsible for the smooth transition through each phase of the Project and proper communication between the various responsible groups setting clear expectations and holding individuals to account for their responsibilities on the program and within the various projects.
  • Serve as the primary interface with the Sales Engineer assigned to the project, to ensure objectives and customer-focused requirements are defined and aligned with company directions.
  • Ensure necessary artefacts such as specifications, acceptance criteria, processes and procedures are produced on a timely basis and to the required level of quality and detail.
  • Capture key learnings from each project and feed back into best practices and engagement philosophy.
  • To encourage a culture of continuous improvement
  • Educate team members in project management principles, methods, processes, and tools.
  • Keep up-to-date and educated in skills related to all project management and ensures this information is disseminated throughout the process.
  • Continual alignment with Business Transformation team timelines of various functionality sprints, to validate Sales Engineers final Client onboarding functionality requirements plans. Ensuring the functionality will be ready on time or notify Sales Engineer in case of delays.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

  • 5 years’ experience in project or program management
  • 5 years’ experience leading technical and non-technical resources.
  • Experience assisting project management teams with identification of action items, tasks and activities and tracking progress.
  • Experience at defining, implementing, and continually improving standards, processes and procedures utilizing industry best practice (PMI, CMMI, etc.)
  • Proven experience of working through challenges, identifying, and considering alternative approaches and making recommendations based upon sound judgement.
  • Ability to build effective relationships, based on integrity, trust and good verbal and written communication.
  • Track record in delivering in a multi-functional team with business teams, development teams and subject matter experts.
  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
  • The ability to work both independently and within a matrix environment.
  • The ability to plan and direct own activities with minimal management supervision.
  • The ability to deliver at a pace whilst managing associated risk.
  • The ability to define and deliver on priorities and be self-organized.
  • A high level of attention to detail, excellent follow through and reliability.
  • Competency in Jira and Microsoft Office applications including Visio, Excel, and PPT.
