Vedior-Select Cyprus, on behalf of its client, which operates in the international banking sector, is seeking to recruit a Lawyer, for their Limassol office.


Duties & Responsibilities:
•Drafting contracts and other legal documents
•Revising legal documents
•Carrying out legal research for Russian laws and regulations, analyzing Russian precedents applicable to credit, investment and other activities of the Bank
•Advising the Bank on Russian laws and regulations that are or may be applicable to the Bank’s activities
•Advising the Bank on organization of contract and corporate relations in agreed or prospective projects
•Consulting departments and managers of the Bank on corporate, Banking, civil, land, tax law, currency regulations, civil and arbitration procedures (in accordance with the Russian law)

•Russian law degree (MGU OR MGUA is preferred
•At least 5 years experience in banking or corporate law
•Ability to speak, read and write fluent English and Russian (especially experience in drafting contracts and carrying negotiations in Russian and English is required)
•Knowledge of English law and legal practice is desired but not compulsory
