Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an International Forex Organisation based in Limassol, is seeking to recruit an IT Technical Writer;

Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
Gather and analyse technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and nontechnical users.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloguing it for internal and/or external use.
Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, etc.), ensuring a consistent โ€œlook and feel.โ€
Monitor metrics on the usage of training materials as well as direct customer feedback to prioritize future training investments.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of technical writing experience in technical writing of software documentation.
Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to read some programming code.
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
Experience working with the following tools preferred: Confluence/JIRA, Git & Github, HTML, CSS, Jinja, JavaScript, Python, Intercom, Mixpanel.
Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conference.
