Shoreside Recruiter is a global recruitment agency serving the specific shore-based staffing requirements of the maritime industry. The sectors that we specialise in are divided into three main departments and focus exclusively in sourcing high calibre candidates for all commercial, professional and technical shore-side jobs globally.
As part of our dynamic growth plan, we are looking for self-employed recruitment consultants for all the above sectors within the market that we serve.
You will source and place candidates within the Shipping Sectors and develop new business with clients.

Key Activities:
• Contacting new and existing clients, business development & developing strong business relationships.
• Maintaining & updating the in-house system.
• Managing client accounts in a professional manner.
• Ensuring clients are familiar with terms and conditions of business and agreeing rates.
• Researching new clients.
• Sending out candidate details to clients for current or future vacancies.
• Arranging & managing the interview process.
• Advertising vacancies (websites, trade press etc.)
• Achieving and ideally exceeding set sales targets

Recruitment is a fast paced and sales focused. You must be outgoing, fast thinking, money motivated deal makers. This is a self-employed, commission based opportunity where you will have the flexibility of working from home and your earning potential will depend on your networking and business development potential.

As a self-employed Recruiter we will assist you in setting up your own desk and you will be working independently, managing your own time and diary but within the comfort of an expanding international Recruitment network. You will have access to back office support, databases, live vacancies on the Shoreside Recruiter website, advertising and access to Job boards.

We are interested to hear from confident, entrepreneurial individuals, who feel that they will benefit financially by earning generous commission rates, based upon their own business development and sales skills, recruitment experience and industry contacts.

Previous experience in the shipping industry (commercial, professional or engineering sales experience) and languages will be considered an advantage but not essential.
