Quantity Surveyor (579/HRS)

A well established company based in Limassol
Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who seeks a position in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Main responsibilities include:
•Plan project budgets and develop construction cost estimates using Excel and/or other cost estimating software
•Perform quantity take-offs
•Develop bottom-up cost estimates of labour, equipment, material, general conditions and markup
•Document basis of cost estimates
•Estimate construction change orders
•Support in developing and negotiating contracts and contract changes
•Measure work progress, handle purchases and issue of payment certificates
•Assist in claims preparation
Profile of the ideal candidate
•University degree in Quantity Surveying or other related field
•Membership in Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) will be considered an advantage
•At least 8 years of solid experience in a similar role preferably with exposure in large scale projects
•Experience in international projects will be considered an advantage
•Professional with strong organisational skills with an emphasis for detail
•Strong and proven negotiation skills
•Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
•Energetic with an ability to work under pressure
•Excellent computer skills
•Fluency in English is a must
