Job Description
Responsibilities
This role has the responsibility as part of the OPITO International (Cyprus) Ltd Approvals team to audit oil & gas safety training centers against OPITO standards within the Middle East & Africa Region.
The successful incumbent will have responsibility for the entire audit process i.e. from the initial enquiry, documentation review through to ensuring on-site compliance against the relevant OPITO approval criteria and standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be a degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant working experience as an HSE auditor/executive within industry(Oil & Gas or educational Institution experience preferred).
The successful candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:-
The candidate should be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently. Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, are a prerequisite.
The role will require extensive travel within the Middle East & Africa region.

• Proficient in compliance auditing against recognised QHSE industry standards
• Excellent formal reporting and technical writing skills
• Minimum undergraduate degree in a technical qualification
• Lead Auditor Qualification
• NEBOSH General Certificate or recognised equivalent
• Competence Assessor and/or Train the Trainer Qualification will be advantageous
