SUMMARY
The Content Writer is responsible for supporting the Content Specialist to produce sharp, incisive, consumer-focused copy across a number of channels, including digital and offline advertising, website, email, brand collateral and press releases for the AFX Group, STO, Quantic and Top Tradr brands.
Content Writer responsibilities:
● Create daily content relating to STO’s products, services and client interests. Specifically - topics relating to online trading, trading strategies, forex, oils, metals, indices, bonds and equities.
● Share content across brand’s social media platforms facebook, twitter, instagram, google+ and linkedin - including to any special interest groups to maximize posts’ reach and penetration.
● Mange social media channels by responding to followers and curating spam or inappropriate comments.
● Compose, edit and post daily fundamental and technical analysis.
● Create content for all external communication channels including webinars, videos and mass emails to traders and clients.
● Liaison third party posts to create backlinks from other websites to STO to increase website’s authority and increase SEO.
● On demand compose, edit and work with Graphic Design team to create printed materials for expos and other marketing/sales events STO may attend.
● Arrange for translation of daily content.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Managing website content production through various CMS’
· Copy writing for direct response advertising concepts across digital and print
· Running a Transcreation process to deliver content to multiple channels & languages
· Writing SEO friendly copy and implementing SEO friendly meta descriptions and tags
· Delivering content that converts to clicks
· Degree in a relevant English, Communications or Journalism discipline
· Strong English language speaker and writing skills
· Minimum of 1-2 years in a content role for a digital business
· An interest in financial markets
