Develops existing and new software by analysing and identifying areas for modification
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
Integrates existing software products and getting incompatible platforms to work together
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming
Creates technical specifications and tests plans
Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures. Writes operational documentation with technical authors
Obtains and licenses software by requiring information from vendors; recommending purchases; testing and approving products
Continually updates technical knowledge and skills by studying information needs, conferring with users, attending courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science
At least two years of experience in the position of Software Developer or equivalent
Strong knowledge of PHP, Perl and SQL
Strong background development with C
Demonstrated understanding of various DBMS (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
Experience working with HTML, JavaScript and JQuery (HTML5 would be considered a plus)
Experience with Linux administration and scripting
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under high-pressure conditions
Good written and verbal communication skills in English language
