Job Description

WorkForce Cyprus is working alongside a fully licensed and regulated STP Forex & CFD Broker, in order to successfully recruit a Senior HR Manager in Berlin, Germany. 

The successful candidate will Provide practical, consistent, and proactive support, direction and advice to managers on HR procedure, policy, benefits, and regulation to facilitate the achievements of organization’s objectives and targets. Perform full scope human resources management works relating to recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, Workers Compensation, FMLA, OSHA, Benefits.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Define and implement recruitment strategies, setting high standards and providing timely solutions. Organize and conduct employee recruitment programs.
  • Implement and modify talent acquisition, development and retention strategy.
  • Provide reasonable and consistent guidance and advice to managers on grievance, attendance, disciplinary cases based on policy manual & Employment Law
  • Identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommend appropriate action plans.
  • Compile and manage case management documentation, accompany and support managers.
  • Review and revise HR policies in compliance with changing or new regulations.
  • Develop personnel policies, maintain and update policy manuals as well as employee handbooks as needed.
  • Conduct and qualify candidates over the phone and in person.
  • Conduct new employee orientation program and other educational and training programs on changes in benefits, diversity, etc.
  • Conducting the exit interviews and documenting employees’ comments during the meeting. 
  • Responsible for organizing and planning all Company’s teambuilding and social events.
  • Provide consultation and advice to employees on day to day employment issues.
  • Running the Employee’s Performance System and monitoring staff’s progression.
  • Utilize external resources to monitor issues and concerns in employment law, communicate potential changes to management.
  • Working on various HR related projects assigned by the top management.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Candidate Profile: 

  • A University degree in HR or Business Administration or Social Sciences or relevant academic coursework/ professional certification programs.
  • Minimum a year experience in an HR related field will be considered advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the HR functions and processes
  • Language requirements; German (native speaker) and English (high proficiency) 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated, driven, and outgoing personality.
  • Creative and Problem-solving skills.
  • High standard of attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy and solid commitment to employee service with teamwork mentality.
  • Ability to convey difficult and challenging information to managers.
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills like Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
