In this role you will be manage and lead design, development, and maintenance projects, to meet their scope, quality, time and budget. You will be responsible for team and people management. The development manager role should be critical in building an elite and highly qualified team, always pushing for self improvement, providing excellent quality development results.
Responsibilities:
Leading the Cyprus site development scrum teams, joining the management of CatalogOne R&D, taking active part and influencing to constantly improve
Building the teams, making sure it is practicing advanced DevOps methodologies, working closely with the architects and product owners to build, lead and track the development plan throughout the development lifecycle.
Skills
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Excellent communication skills with excellent verbal and written English
At least 5 year experience with the below skills:
Software Development Manager, proven experience in managing a team of 15 people minimum
Skills in creating and managing a software development plan, Team capacity analysis, ability to estimate development work
Excellent knowledge with object oriented design & coding standards and methodologies
Proven hands-on Software Development experience & working experience in Java development
Vast experience with agile engineering practices such as SCRUM development, DevOps, CI/CD
Experience in Micro services architecture development
Experience in implementing and adopting TDD
Experience in applying automation testing coverage functional, NFT, Performance
Experience in the following tools and technologies: Spring Cloud, RESTful services, Apache CXF, Apache Felix, NoSql, Tomcat, Swagger, React, Redux, Maven, Junit frameworks, Jenkins
Experience in the Spring Boot and OSGI - Advantage
Ability to assimilate knowledge quickly and efficiently
