CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global Insurance company with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their expanding team of professionals.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monthly Bank reconciliations (Spain and Italy).
- Monthly Payment Bordereau upload files.
- Reconciling Premium received to the Payment Bordereaus.
- Quarterly Premium received reconciliations.
- Claims Float Top ups payments – Reconciling monthly Claims bordereaus and arranging payment via Accounts Payable and ECF system.
- Quarterly TPA reconciliation – Reconciling Dual and Non Dual float amounts to Finance ledger.
- Creating journals in Great Plains finance system – IPT, Withholding Tax, Premium and Claims, Ceded Premium.
- IPT calculation for German branch.
- Monthly ITD Claims report to management.
- Work with UK Finance team to ensure compliance with SOX and risk control framework and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Ad-hoc duties.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Accounting/Finance or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access is essential.
- Any previous experience with the following will be considered an advantage: Great Plains, TM1 Reporting, FRX Reporting, Concur and SSP.
- Strong numerical skills.
- A confident, efficient communicator, able to liaise with key stakeholders.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise accordingly.
- Strong team player who is approachable and committed to role.
- Proven problem solving capabilities.
- Fluency in English (Written & Spoken) is essential.
