The Procurement/ Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing direct materials sourcing and to develop sourcing strategies, lead supplier selection process (e.g., competitive bidding, partnership development, consolidation/reducing complexities of the buy, etc.) and work with legal to negotiate contracts/agreements.Ā
Responsibilities
*Ā Discover profitable suppliers andĀ initiateĀ business and organizationĀ partnerships
*Ā Negotiate with external vendors to secureĀ advantageousĀ terms
*Ā Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
*Ā Finalize purchaseĀ details of orders and deliveries
*Ā Examine and test existing contracts
*Ā Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
*Ā Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
*Ā Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
*Ā Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
Requirements
*Ā Ideally hold a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or other related discipline
*Ā Good command of English Language (written & spoken)
