We are looking to recruit a passionate and self-motivated in house Legal Advisor/Manager to join our dynamic team in Limassol.
The candidate will mainly deal with legal matters and will mainly deal with legal matters and oversee company’s duties. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years post legal qualification experience with Corporate and Commercial Law, and CySEC regulations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare corporate documents (Contracts, Deeds, Agreements, etc);
- Prepare, amend and review legal documents for implementation by legal entities;
- Monitoring and advising on ongoing transactions and/ or other projects from a legal perspective according to the laws of the Republic of Cyprus;
- Enforce organization standards, policies and procedures;
- Drafting and reviewing various types of agreements and contracts;
- Work side by side with the Compliance Department;
- Oversee company’s activities and update management regarding CySEC new regulations and changes to the regulatory body;
- Assist in the drafting of relevant compliance policies and procedures;
- Conduct internal compliance audits;
- Providing guidance on corporate law and regulatory matters and performing legal research for these matters;
- Other legal work and any other duties assigned
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in law
- Previous experience the Forex industry or other CySEC regulated company, as well as knowledge of CIF regulatory frameworks – Must
- Previous experience with commercial and corporate law – Must
- Membership of the Cyprus Bar Association will be considered an advantage
- Holder of the CySEC Basic or Advance certificate will be considered an advantage
- Excellent communication skills (Fluency in Greek and English are essential)
- Excellent analytical and problem – solving skills
