Our client is an internationally successful grocery chain (food/non food) and expanding rapidly. At present there are 80,000 employees and some 8,000 branches world-wide. The company is currently looking to hire a young Executive Purchaser with prospects of becoming the Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities
• negotiation of purchase agreements with suppliers in the region
• discovery and development of new supplier sources
• shaping and development of the product range
• market observation and analysis of trends and buying behaviuor.

Characteristics
The person the client is looking for should be of Cypriot origin with fluent English language skills.
In addition, our client is looking to hire an incumbent who is:
• Young and dynamic
• University degree in Economics and/or Business studies
• Commercial experience in an international environment
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years work experience
• Good level of English
• Able to work in a team
• Creative, flexible and open to change
• Analytical
• Interested in developing her/himself at a highly professional level
