Job Description

Corporate Lawyer

Representing our clients, a group of Companies, we are looking to hire an in-house Corporate Lawyer - Member of the Cyprus Bar Association, for our Corporate Administration Department in Limassol.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of Cyprus Corporate (Companies) Law
  • Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for businesses/advise clients concerning legal transactions and proceedings in general
  • Handling the corporate administration work of the department
  • Advising and/or assisting with structuring/negotiating agreements and other legal documents, making amendments to M&A, providing legal support and overview for closings and other transactions, overseeing corporate governance
  • Incorporating companies, completion and filing of company forms through on-line filing system of the Registrar of Companies
  • Ability to liaise with government related authorities
  • Reviewing and drafting of directors and shareholders’ minutes and resolutions, as well as agreements, powers of attorney and all other corporate documents
  • Handling client due diligence and KYC procedures for corporate and trust structures
  • Maintaining legal and administrative files for all clients
  • Support in the development and implementation of the firm’s compliance regime
  • Legal support for the Real Estate department, including drafting/reviewing/negotiating sales/services/lease agreements, and other legal documentation
  • Rendering advice on laws and regulations that pertain to real estate property
Required Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Highly organized individual willing to multitask and work in a challenging work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to abide by strict deadlines
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • IT literate
  • Fluent written and spoken Greek and English (knowledge of Russian would be a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills
