CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International provider of Corporate & Fiduciary Services with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their expanding team of professionals.
Role Overview:
Working as part of our clients IT team, you will be expected to manage several complementary systems, servers, storage devices across multiple sites as well as providing IT support to our group offices. In addition, you will be responding, investigating and resolving various incidents related to many systems as and when needed, as well as conducting industry research and providing recommendations for emerging technology trends.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience on systems administration, management for various technologies such as Windows, Servers, Storage.
- Strong experience and expertise with infrastructure architecture, design and implementation.
- Strong with Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, SQL Server.
- Strong with Virtualization technologies: Hyper-V and Cloud Solutions.
- Strong with network LAN/WAN connectivity, security, firewalls.
- Proficiency with various operating Systems.
- Demonstrable project implementation experience, working as part of a team.
- Proven experience in security incident response and investigation, Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications.
- Responsible for resolving various escalated service issues, engineering and implementing complex projects.
- Responsible for resolving various IT support incidents and requests across our group offices.
