Our client, an online sports betting company is looking to recruit a highly motivated Public Relations Manager for their offices based in Limassol.
Responsibilities
● Develop and implement PR and communication strategies that are aligned with the company’s initiatives
● Maximize positive brand exposure and awareness in local, national, and international markets
● Build brand awareness through PR and corporate communication efforts and by participating in challenging projects
● Create and maintain a favourable public image for the company by communicating offers, accomplishments and by organizing successful speaking opportunities to promote our company’s services, image, and leadership in the industry
● Pitch and place articles and press releases in key media/social media, publications, events, videos, etc.
● Work jointly with our internal and external teams and coordinating with outside agencies as needed
● Work to secure relevant meetings, speaking engagements and interviews for our Executive Directors
● Cultivate and continuously build successful relationships/contacts with new and existing collaborations, such as industry experts, leaders, influencers, the media, and the community
● Maintain professional knowledge by attending conventions, annual meetings and seminars and by establishing personal networks
● Manage and leverage social media channels to drive awareness
● Manage a PR/outreach budget
● Seek out and submit applications for relevant awards, with the intent of generating brand awareness
● Report on growth and lead opportunities generated from PR activities
● Respond to information queries from media and the general public
Qualifications
● At least 3 years of relevant work experience, degree in relevant field
● Ability to execute and maintain an exceptional level of organization and professionalism
● Confident communicator and public presenter
● Possess a full understanding of media needs and relationships as well as social media platforms
● Possess a proactive, reliable and responsible attitude with attention to detail
● Proven ability to operate both strategically, creatively and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; willingness to pitch in to help the team wherever and whenever needed
● Fluency in English & Greek language or English & Russian is a requirement. Additional languages will be considered an advantage
● Enthusiastic, team-player and time management skills are a must
● IT literate – proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
