Limassol
A Group of Companies, dealing with financial/investment activities and OTC transactions, is seeking for a full-time lawyer with a proven experience in the financial sector (investments, brokerage, dealing on its own account) to their office in Limassol. A potential candidate will be charged with the following duties and responsibilities:
- Legal due diligence of counterparties according to global KYC requirements;
- Legal support of deals under CSA and ISDA, including drafting of documents, their finalization etc.;
- Drafting of corporate documents under the English law (Cyprus, BVI, UK): minutes, notes, POAs, resolutions, etc.;
- Drafting and analyze of bilingual agreements (SPAs, Loan Agreements, Investor Rights Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, etc.);
- Legal analysis of venture and private equity transactions;
- Preparation of legal opinions: transfer pricing, transactions with shares/stocks, including foreign, structuring transactions with foreign Participation, etc.;
- Communication with clients and partners: participation in meetings, correspondence, compilation and analysis of materials on foreign law, checking the quality of legal work of partners-outsourced lawyers
- Higher legal education (preferred specializations: Financial law, Corporate law, Capital Markets Law);
- Good knowledge of CAP 113 and Capital Markets laws (ISDA);
- Proven experience at the same position and with the same duties for at least 3 years;
- Fluent English;
- Russian is desirable, Greek is your advantage;
- Logical mindset, sociability, creativity, stress resistance, ability to work in a multitasking mode, initiative, independence, organization, responsibility.
Duties and requirements are obligatory. Fluent English is a must.
