CareerFinders, on behalf of one of the Islands' leading Banking Institutions, we are seeking to recruit individuals for the position of Graduate Banking Services Officer (IBU), on a 3-month contract to join their team of professionals based in Nicosia.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:

- Provides support to the Relationship Officers Customer Service (ROs) and Senior Relationship Officers Customer Service (SROs) of the Unit and processes customers/business associatesā requests, in order to provide quality customer service and achieve the Unitās objectives.
- Opens accounts and executes customer instructions within the Customer Service Departmentās responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensures that the accounts function properly and efficiently via the sensible use of transactional flags.
- Regularly reviews the customerās files to ensure the proper maintenance of customer information in accordance with the applicable procedures of the Group and the Central Bank.
- Provides prompt response to the customer/business associatesā requests, queries and complaints and escalates complicated matters to the ROs/SROs for further handling and resolving, for achieving quality customer service.
- Promotes the Bankās electronic channels to the customers/business associates in order to minimize operating costs and increase revenue. At the same time submits suggestions for further improvement through the IB, W&M Services.
- Is aware of the Central Bankās directives and relevant instructions/procedures of the Bank (circulars and ISO) and ensures effective implementation in order to comply with the AML regulatory framework.
- Carries out any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Manager in order to achieve the proper functioning of the Branch.

Key Skills/Experience:
Ā
- School Leaving Certificate is a must. University degree will be consideredĀ an advantage,Ā but is not essential.
- GCE O level English language- Grade A, B or C, or IGCSE Grade A, B or C.
- Any previous experience in Accounting specifically within financial statements will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
- Fluency in Russian or Chinese will be considered an advantage.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Dynamic, results oriented individual, with the ability to operate with speed and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Highly ethical, trustworthy, reliable, discreet individual.
