Job Description

The Legal Department of our Company is responsible for ensuring the integrity and legitimacy of our business and clients. The Legal Claims Assistant under the direct supervision of the Senior Legal Advisor, should always be concerned with the assurance that legal cases have been properly thought through before acting. The ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure in a methodological way and adopt a set of strategies for dealing with external associates in order to maximize the Company’s benefits. As a Legal Claims Assistant, you will be:

  • Initiating and gathering all related documents and information from all relevant parties involved
  • Preparing, supervising and reviewing claim files within specified limits and authorities
  • Maintaining and updating claims records regularly as per the strategy set
  • Negotiating with claimants, other insurance companies and/ or lawyers
  • Preparing and implementing legal cases in relation to liability and personal injury claims
  • Recognizing and communicating all state and regulatory issues to staff members
  • Monitoring team member’s performance and providing leadership to the team 
  • Participating in training and coaching sessions for continuous learning and development

Requirements:

  • University degree in Law
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Personal Injury Litigation, Contract Law and Dispute Negotiations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
  • Computer literacy (MS Office:  Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Research, writing and negotiation skills
  • Thorough knowledge of legal framework
  • Sharp judgement with excellent interpersonal and communicational skills
  • Active listener with critical thinking, sound judgment and attention to details
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to work with utmost discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Numerical understanding
