Job Description

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

  • Providing HR Generalist support to the various functions within the company.
  • Talent acquisition and recruitment – working through the full recruitment process from sourcing candidates by utilizing job boards and social networking sites, screening CVs, creating offers, pre-employment screening through to onboarding.
  • Compensation & benefits administration - partnering with payroll vendor to issue pay to employees and administering benefits.
  • Assisting with employee relations issues - supporting and advising managers with performance management and disciplinary cases, absence management, and advising on flexible working options.
  • Providing support to employees - responding to queries and resolving issues in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation, HR policies and practices.
  • Maintaining accurate employee information - manually and in our Human Resource Information System.
  • International HR - working with colleagues on global issues.
  • Project work - involvement in implementing new initiatives.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

  • Familiarity with HR Administration processes.
  • Knowledge of Cyprus’ Labour Laws and government authority requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Very good planning, organizational and follow up skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Customer service oriented personality with good communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on professionalism, confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow and develop.
  • University Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, and ideally with membership of the CIPD, SHRM or equivalent.
  • Very good command of the English language; Greek language is an added advantage.
  • Good use of MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR Generalist position.
