CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a large, international and well-established company operating within the Shipping/Container sector with regional operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a well-qualified and highly experienced Head of Engineering to join their expanding team of professionals.
Role Overview:
Responsible to plan and direct all engineering projects within the industrial activity of the terminal according to the organization’s objectives.
Key Skills/Experience:
- BSc and/or MSc in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power engineering/power distribution on high voltages or automation.
- At least 5 years in experience as Electrical Engineer or as Head of Engineering.
- Holder of Class B license from Electromechanical Services (EMS).
- Registered in The Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber.
- Experience in project engineering and project management.
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire teamwork and cooperation.
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Financial and interdisciplinary thinking.
- Computer literate specifically with MS Office and preferably experience with Autocad & Electrical Simulation Programs (e.g. Neplan, ETAP).
- Very good command of the English Language.
