Our client is a Service Provider currently looking forĀ an experienced Merchant Onboarding Specialist ā€“ a tenacious and organised professional to join their highly talented Payment Solutions team. The purpose of the role is to contribute in effectively onboarding Merchants to various PSPā€™s; co-ordinate all associated administrative, financial and legal activities and develop client acquisition strategy to ensure productive business streams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analysing and mapping of merchantā€™s corporate structures leading to UBO
  • Analysing merchantsā€™ processing statements, company financials business plans
  • Prepare and Review application packages and ensure that they contain all relevant documents in the appropriate standards.
  • Pre-screen merchant websites to verify that they are genuine and compliant
  • Communicate with various acquiring banks, PSPs, EMIs, PIs and Credit Institutions from initial application stages to the receiving of relevant accounts
  • Resolve existing merchants onboarding queries on generated from both merchant side and PSPā€™s side.
  • Ensure that existing merchants are compliant with regards to all business rules and regulations
  • Interview merchantsā€™ key stakeholders when required to collect information
  • Devise and develop custom risk settings for new approved merchants
  • Maintain positive relationship and open communication with all company departments and partners in the sales workflow process

Requirements

  • 1 years + experience in PSP, PI, EMI or the e-commerce / card industry
  • 1 years + Merchant Onboarding, Compliance or Risk Management experience considered a strong advantage
  • English must be to a professional standard ā€“ we require impeccable verbal and written communications
  • Experience in AML, Due Diligence and Risk Management
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Additional languages will be considered as an advantage
  • Familiar using a CRM systems and Microsoft Offices Suites
  • Good networking skills
