Our client is an R&D company specializing in software and electronics for telecommunications related applications and services. They develop, manufacture and sell cutting edge electronics equipment that is used in a variety of market verticals. They are currently looking for a SW QA and Support Engineer to add to their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities The SW QA and Support Engineer will be working as part of the QA team. The QA team ensures quality of releases and a great customer experience of the products. She/he will continuously collaborate with all parties in a project to ensure excellence in execution, development, and delivery; and will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • BSc Computer engineering or Telecommunications or Computer Science.
  • At least 2 years’ commercial experience in Software QA/Testing
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies
  • Analyse business requirements, create test cases and test conditions
  • Work closely with development team to analyse and resolve defects
  • Post production deployment validations
  • Implementation of automated test scenarios
  • Experience with Java
  • Knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, Eclipse IDE, Maven will be considered as an advantage
  • Usage of JIRA for defect tracking
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Basic Linux usage and Networking skills
  • Scripting language experience (e.g. python) is an advantage
  • Experience writing and executing test plans
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Excellent oral and verbal skills in English
