CareerFinders, on behalf of our client a well-established and highly respected company within the energy sector based in Larnaca we are seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer for their expanding office. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible to plan and direct new development and engineering projects according to the company’s objectives.
- Perform research and industry analysis on energy projects.
- Work independently or with minimal supervision to support in research efforts, ensuring consistency and quality of research methods.
- Provide general commercial administrative support to the Commercial Department.
- The role includes a range of duties including preparing reports, proposals, presentations, letters and other documents, dealing with correspondence and telephone calls, undertake projects as well as other tasks as required.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers.
- The prospective candidate must have initiative, be self-motivated, highly organised, be discrete, able to work effectively under pressure individually and as a team.
Key Skills/Experience:
- BSc and/or MSc in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years working experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Experience in project engineering and project management.
- Education or experience in Renewable Energy Technologies (photovoltaics, wind, distributed generation, etc) will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages (both oral and written).
- Fully developed IT skills, including a high level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, experience with AutoCAD & Electrical Simulation Programs and internet savvy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Technical Writing - Communicating effectively in writing and conveying complex information as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Good research skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines and ability to prioritise own workload.
- Ability to work on own initiative – A confident ‘self-starter’.
- Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
